Diese Sonor ist klanglich sehr durchsetzungsfähig und dynamisch, ohne dass sie auch bei stärkerem Strumming undefiniert wird!
Die Gründe sind baulich bedingt:
- Relativ mächtige, massive Decke (6 bis 7 mm an den Schalllöchern)
- Korpusmaß 43 cm (ca. 17 Zoll)
- Zargenhöhe 80 mm
- 2 Parallelbalken
Weitere Daten: Mensur 62 cm, Sattelbreite 41 mm, Saitenbreite 46 mm (!!), 22 Bünde plus Nullbund. Mehrfachbindings (s/w).
Bei Fa. Otwin wusste man also genau, welche Dimensionen eine Archtop haben muss, damit sie akustisch das optimale Ergebnis bringt!
